Work has started on a £240,000 refurbishment project of a Grade 2 star Listed building which will provide 1,222 sq. ft. of offices at first floor from part of the former dormitory and some 750 sq. ft. of ground floor offices from the former refectory at Fenham Hall Studios.
Main contractor CBS construction Ltd based in Forest Hall have signed a twelve-week contract with Fenham Hall Studios but anticipate an earlier completion. Managing Director Kevin Pollard said “ CBS have carried out over £3.m worth of contracts in 2017 which included difficult projects such as work on listed buildings we have specialised recently in car showrooms offering or clients very high levels of finishes”

When asked if he expected the job to be finished on time Kevin Pollard said “our most recent project was finished two weeks ahead of schedule. On a project such as the Fenham Hall Studios Office extension where very detailed drawings were available from day one we would hope to complete well within the allocated time.
